Eye Exam with a referral from your GP (huisarts). No cost.*
A comprehensive eye examination includes a check of your eye strength and spectacle strength (if necessary, an extended eye measurement), an eye health check with a microscope and eye scans. The examination is complaint-oriented.

Extensive (children's) eye measurement. Prisms test. €79
Your eye strength is measured with and without eye drops. We also check how well your eyes work together. We measure the strength of any prisms that may be needed in your glasses. We will provide you with a complete prescription for glasses and glasses advice.
Eye Exam. €49
An eye exam to check your vision and make sure your glasses are still the right prescription. We will also give you advice on how to choose the right glasses for your needs.

Contact lens check-up. €59
Measurement of the strength of your contact lenses and checking the fit. Lens advice if you are experiencing any problems, including a prescription. Trial lenses may be provided if you are experiencing problems.
*From January 1, 2024: All eye examinations with a digital referral letter via ZorgDomein from the general practitioner will be fully reimbursed.
**The total cost of an eye examination is €97.33. You will receive an invoice from Stichting Optonet that you can declare with your health insurance company. You will pay the amount of this invoice directly to Stichting Optonet.
