I am Silvia del Rio, a certified optometrist with over 4 years of experience in mainstream eye care. With enthusiasm, I work in my own optometry practice, Zeker Zicht, located within the Zorgplein health center in Amsterdam.

In addition to my private practice, I also work at an eye laser clinic and in mainstream eye care at an eye clinic. My mission is to provide accessible and appropriate care in the right setting.

I take over tasks from overloaded opticians by performing complex eye examinations and relieve ophthalmologists by examining and advising patients with simple eye complaints.

Since early 2024, Zeker Zicht has partnered with Huisarts+punt to optimize care. General practitioners can refer patients with eye complaints directly to my practice. If further medical care is needed, I advise the GP via Huisarts+punt to refer the patient to the appropriate specialist.
